Management fees on private investment pools?

What typically are management fees (both management and incentive fees) for pooled investment vehicles, such as private equity pools and limited partnerships? I read in Wikipedia the “2 and 20″ rule, with 2% management fee on total assets and 20% of total return, for both the Hedge Fund and the Venture Capital definition. However, I was not certain that was universal, or just what Wikipedia contributors came in with. Thank you.

I am looking for developers of entertainment or theme parks for joint venture in Sudan?

Sudan is now posted to a rapid economic growth. We have vast lands and are lacking entertainment facilities and theme parks for children and families. There are so many opportuinities in this arena. We have access to vast and large land lots or areas in the capital Khartoum. We are looking forward to developers who can provide such fcilities for benefit of the 2 parties

Do a lot of these big companies we see start out as more than one store at once? HELP?

In other words a lot of companies use a lot of borrowed money or venture capital and stuff and I don’t see how some of these stores could have so many location unless they started with more stores than just one to start. Like anyway how does this work and such and am I right but…?? like at the same time a lot of them started with just one too so IDK haha.

How do VC’s get paid? Where does a VC’s management fee go?

Does a venture capital firm’s 2-5% management fee cover the overhead expenses of the VC’s office & staff or what does it cover? How much of this is given as salary to General Partners, Venture Partners, Principals, etc.? What are the typical cuts each gets? Thanks!

I am not interested in contacting online venture capital firms coz they demand for project plans and end up doing nothing. I am from a small asian country and it is quite dufficult convenincing investors to come here. My business interestes are in productions such as mobile phones and computer assemblies. Placing adverts on newspaper, web directories etc.? Thanks for your interest!!!

ALSO why do VC’s provide financing at all I mean say you need money for your business and I give it and I want a 51% stake in the company as the venture capital firm but I am PAYING FOR THE WHOLE THING how does this help me?

if a company has a history of declining income should I invest?

I am thinking about investing into a company that’s in it’s IPO stage. I checked out their records and it shows a trend of declining income. The company currently has 231 share holders and has no venture capital. (I was told that the CEO has invested all of his own money into the company). Is this a wise investment choice? Of course they make it souund like the potential to make a lot of money is very high. It’s an internet company and it already has the website in existence.
