if you are slightly off they wouldn’t care. they can easily look up everyone’s totals by entering a social security #. its that easy.
be careful not to put misleading information, otherwise they’ll come after you.

You need to do your best to make sure it’s accurate. If they find that you have lied (or accidentally lied) on your form, they might ask you to pay back all of the financial aid. Of course, there might be legal problems with it too (i.e. fraud.)
