Last May, we noted that Big Al had joined the venture capital group Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers the previous September. On May 1, 2008, the firm announced a $500 million investment in maturing green technology firms called the Green Growth Fund.

Al (fat) Gore was never credible. It is a hoax.

Personally I don’t give a damn about Al Gore,
but 30 seconds with Google reveals that (Kleiner Perkins) is an almost 40 year old company that has a long history of investing in I.T. and green technology at which they have made billions.
It also says that the amount invested was $400 million not 500 but I guess deniers blogs are good at inflating information if not just making it up.

This is absolutely nothing new, Al and his father have been involved with rip off projects like this since his father signed on with big oil back in the 30s. Gore in reality owns more oil stock that the entire Bush family does and this is the reason he has always been against practical energy alternatives. He has many times worked hard to prevent a nuclear plant being built and forced the developers to use coal or gas firing instead.

I do find the denier ****** of attacking Gore a little pathetic, how has his wealth or lack of it caused sea levels to rise or made the Arctic shrink. I guess if you can’t make any headway against the science attack the messenger. Funny how deniers seem to be the ones who keep try to drag Gores name into this, but call us his disciples.
Not that I would call any of the links posted so far even slightly credible.

So Kermit was wrong, it is easy being green. And it’s profitable, too. People are too ready to buy into this guy’s rhetoric. Maybe Obama should put a cap on the amount someone can earn being a eco-speaker.

I would not put my money in it. If Gore is involved it is for him.
