Invest in CDs. They are low risk, and profitable. As you select higher profitable investments, they are riskier and thus you may experience possible loss of capital which is not profit, but a loss. OK so you still want more profits? Try mutual funds that you hold on for a long time that should produce a profitable return. Still want quicker potential profits? Try ETFs of sectors or countries. Still want quicker potential profits try individual stocks. Still want more potential profits, try options.
Remember, as the potential profits go up so does the risk and the potential losses! Only you can decide how much risk you are willing to take. Never invest more than you can afford to loose. Good Luck. Having luck is executing with a prepared mind.

I don’t think you should invest in CD’s they barely keep up with inflation. The most profitable investments are in the stock market.
Once you have a system going you can make money with little risk.

Try big oil company stock if you want it to be as risk free as possible, but I’d seriously wouldn’t reccomend it. (The returns come too slowly)
