We are a envioronmental equipement manufacturer. We would like to get into a new market with great potential. We need some capital to back us up. Where should I start?

Couple options depending on your stage –
If early stage, search the Internet for angel groups in your area. Most angel groups will have monthly or even bi-weekly meetings (typically breakfasts) where you can pitch your business plan. Don’t expect funding from this process – the most valuable thing you will gain is feedback, which will allow you to fine tune your idea. You’ll aslo meet contacts at these meetings, which will lead to one VC, and then another, and so on. Stick with it.
If you are later stage, which you sound like you might be. Talk to your banker, lawyer, or CPA. These professionals all run in the same circles and are typically very willing to make introductions.
